I am loving these banners by Jimmy Marble! Designlovefest just did a little blurb about them and now I have an overwhelming urge to whip on the ole credit card.

It’s been on my to-do list to attend a Blogshop but I was just waiting for the class to end up in Florida! Well they are finally coming and instead of being a student I submitted my name as an intern! I was so excited when I found out they were coming to Miami – I levitated out of bed last night to research it quickly and figure out my plan of attack. One of the reasons I decided to even go to school and learn web and graphic design was because I was religiously following the founder of Blogshop, Bri Emery‘s blog DesignLoveFest
So Bri, or whoever may be checking out my blog – this is my first attempt to grab your attention. Ya know, to plant the seed, if you will! Throughout the month I’ll be submitting two other fun graphics and videos to ensure that i will be a great choice as your blogshop intern in Miami.

this was a spread in the new Rue magazine and I am really digging those colors & Kristin Ess’s red locks! This photography is amazing too. Angela + Bri have a photoshop class and I’ve finally decided that if they get close enough to Florida… I’m shellin’ out for it. I probably know most of what they may teach but I don’t care I’ve been following them for nearly 3 years.

I never ever ever ever come across people that want to mentor me in the graphic design field (it’s more hobby not my focus). They either keep their sources to themselves or just have that artsy jerky thang going on – not all but I have come across some. I did join the graphic design club at UCF so I’m excited for that in the fall… but when i read all these fly blogs everyone is in California (or New York!) and everyone knows each other and is successful in their ventures and well known – it makes me so jealous it makes me want to just finish school and get a plane ticket straight out there to be with mah peeps but that’s not really a rational reason, or maybe it is. Only time will tell… 1 year to be exact. Time to get ze ball rollin’

okay try to follow - I fell upon RUE magazine, an online mag, via design sponge, an online designer website, which then lead me to this gal, bri emery who is the art director for RUE. Phhewww done. I became so obsessed i pretty much just give her website credit for me even wanting to remotely be a designer of sorts. 2 Photoshop classes later I was determined to hopefully follow (somewhat) in her footsteps. Now I’m just doing all the odd ball coding aspect which is great! but… I’m more about the aesthetics in the long run.
My point is their style is amazing. The set-up of the magazine is absolutely beautiful. Check it out you will surely enjoy it it’s better than any mag I’ve ever bought in the store.
Hi! thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm a web design student at the moment moonlighting as a graphic designer. I'm blogging as fast as I'm learning things. I post pictures i like, new tricks I learn, photography and all that other jazz. I try to create most of my own posts and I will label them if the design was by me... although sometimes others inspire me too - but don't fret! I give credit where credit is due and if you use something from my design bubble here - I hope you do too.
