Had the pleasure of meeting Chad this weekend at my cousins wedding! It was a whirlwind weekend – we had a wedding at the Garden & I was in my cousin’s wedding down the road. I’m all kinds of wedding’d out to say the least! Anyway, I got to chatting with Mr. Ainsworth and I really dug his style and personality! We had Easter Sunday at the Garden all to ourselves and I cherished every moment! We ate and played and had fun with the babies! Makes me remember how truly blessed we all really are!

It is so crazy how 2013 just began and Waldo’s Secret Garden is gearing up for our 3rd wedding of the spring season! It’s wild to say this but we only have 2 dates left for 2013 and then we’re booked! It’s been a dream come true for our “official year open”. Over Christmas break I did a photo shoot with David Busch and Cindy O’Dare for their radio show on Waxe1370! We had a ton of fun and their inspiration was a Wes Anderson type shoot (which I loved) I can do funky that’s for sure – and they can too! Check out these photos we took at Waldo’s Secret Garden! Oh! And this first picture below… all that brightness back there was a sun shower that stuck us in the barn for longer than expected but how cool did that turn out?!

I haven’t been able to do a style post in nearly 2 months so I was rather excited to knock one out this weekend at my parent’s property in Vero Beach. A friend and photographer, Ashley Morgan, took these amazing photos! The location is Waldo’s Secret Garden as some call it but it’s just plain old home to me! I love to do these for our brides to get an idea of where they can get a few rad shots for their big day… I also don’t mind playing dress up in this vintage Lilly Pulitzer, don’t mind one bit! It was originally $400 and I got it on sale for $90 a few years ago, one of my favorite purchases to date.

The feedback from The Garden has been amazing and non-stop. We were so pleasantly surprised that our bold idea to house a few weddings has turned into a full on business. We’ve booked our first wedding for 2014 already! We find that exciting since 2013 will be the first year we are open for business. We just want to thank everyone for the inquiries, kind words, unique articles, and all that jazz! We are just getting started - for the winds are changing in a very wonderful way!

The styled shoot I was shamelessly talking about for the past two weeks went live on Monday and I just wanted to be able to post it here too! This is the Treehouse/Waldo’s Garden venue(in case you’re new here). I’m very partial to the property because it’s where I grew up and I was so happy Vitalic was able to capture this unique area so naturally! I can’t wait to be able to send future brides all these shots so they can see the endless possibilities we did.

I ran home over the weekend to assist with a photo-shoot on the property with Vitalic Photographers and although the photos should go live very soon I had to share my favorite that I took with my iPhone with a little editing in instagram and mobile photoshop. Dreamy, right?
