I feel like I’ve been lacking in creativity lately. Well, maybe not lacking but it’s definitely on a hiatus – hidden for a bit until I finish a bunch of other work – but in the meantime, I tried to get the creative juices flowing so I sauntered over to etsy… it worked! It always works! Check out these lovely finds I may need to make mine!

In my down time / when I want to feel all giddy inside I cruise over to ETSY and check out their Edison bulbs. They make me so happy I want an entire house filled to the brim with them! Anywho, I was browsing Apartment Therapy and found a different take on an Edison lamp! Check out these “cake lamps“

I didn’t make any resolutions this year but in the event that I had I think they would’ve sounded quite a bit like Mrs. Lilien’s. One classy lady, that’s for sure!

Rifle Paper Co. had another sidewalk sale so i popped in praying i could get this exclusive LA print for my abode. Sadly, they had already been purchased! But it’s right over here at Urbanic Paper Boutique. I was able to get a ton of stationary from the sale! Below are a few of my favorites.

It’s amazing what’s trending right now. It’s literally the most beautiful time for the creative industry. Simple, chic, textures & color, out of the box thinking for websites, etc. We had a lecture on creative trends for 2013 and illustration was one of them but I was thinking ”Hello! It’s been an amazing aspect of the design world that’s been completely untapped” With that being said, I truly hope it doesn’t burn out any time soon.

One of my favorite sayings! I found out about Ross while I was interning at Mama’s Sauce. Some amazing artists go through there – I was lucky enough to be introduced to them! I was just browsing Ross Moody’s quirky website and found these free downloads for your desktop! He’s got quite an eye for typography! See some of his other downloads right here.
(you can also buy this as a poster on his website! do it, do it!)
