Remember when i posted about wanting to own a letterpress one day? It was right here then i found a letterpress in Winter Park. Literally I just tweeted at them “Hey got any internships?” that simple. Got an interview and now I’ve got a summer internship at a letterpress. Levitating. Getting behind the scenes of the printing aspect of the design world was a goal of mine – success! Watch this video below i found on their blog - I mean, swoooooon!
How did I just find out Orlando has a West Elm? I always thought it was one of those amazing stores reserved for California (since everything awesome is in california) . it’s on my list of things to do now.
I have promised myself that I am going to develop a new website for Waldo’s Secret Garden. I’m constantly apologizing to potential renters when they’re inquiring because I’ve got like 4 links to send them so they can really get a good idea of the property – and I know that is just confusing and not professional. In our defense, we’re new at this! Still getting our bearings straight. That ends soon! It’s my main goal to get a sweet new website up with loads of info accompanied with amazing photos. I’m working on the logo too. Here’s 3 I’ve made so far – whatcha’ think?
This is the best time in ze world to go shopping. There’s so much classic black and white with stripes and others with lots & lots of color. Looks like I’m going to have to start a little style post of sorts soon! Oh! and check out this website Poketo if you need to update your kitchen accessories (along with other things).
Finals week reminds me of what a terrible test taker I am. It’s true – I’m all visual. Of course, I try my hardest but my mind goes elsewhere – somewhere far far away. Luckily I’m sure I’m not alone and there’s always a need for people like us in the world. I could conclude this with some whimsical John Lennon quote but I will refrain because it makes me cringe.

We aren’t sure if you see things like us but Waldo’s Secret Garden is a blank, intricate canvas of fascination and we want you to get creative! The good thing about us is that we want to help you out with your event any way we can - and if that means building a grandeur doorway for you to walk through at your ceremony… we’re up for the challenge. Check out these pictures below and see a couple neat ideas we would dieeeee to see soon.
I did a little thrifting nearly a near ago now for something like this DIY! I found tons of glass jars – I suggest you just invest in them. Keep them around for crafting because this is beautiful and I keep seeing them everywhere (with a twist!) . For the entire tutorial it’s right over here at making it lovely! I started keeping all of my beet jars, pickle jars, mince onion jars too, so I’m truly hoping that I will make these natural environments and not turn into an A&E special edition of hoarders.
That “May the odds be ever in your favor” is rather prevalent right now. Luckily there’s free 5 hour energy drinks being distributed everywhere on campus!
I Can’t believe it’s been over a year since Sam’s diagnosis! it’s very scary to think your own body wants to literally beat the living daylights out of you just because it can. Which brings me to my next point – we are having another fundraiser and this time with wristbands (go gators)! We are so thankful for everyone who came to the last one! In tough economic times we saw an entire community (and nation) come together and donate any amount they could so Sam & Kristen could be comfortable in New York while he received treatment. CLICK HERE to get a wristband ($5!!). We want you and Kristen home soon, Sam Sam!
Hi! thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm a web design student at the moment moonlighting as a graphic designer. I'm blogging as fast as I'm learning things. I post pictures i like, new tricks I learn, photography and all that other jazz. I try to create most of my own posts and I will label them if the design was by me... although sometimes others inspire me too - but don't fret! I give credit where credit is due and if you use something from my design bubble here - I hope you do too.
