I love making logos here and there for people! My friend Linda Roberts who invited me and Decorative Arts to assist in a photo shoot a few months back (here) for House of Fifty Magazine asked me to help her out with a new logo for her wildly popular blog “Lime in the Coconut” if you haven’t been over to it – you must check it out! Linda has quite an eccentric eye herself and has put together a beautiful blog with great content!

I haven’t been able to do a style post in nearly 2 months so I was rather excited to knock one out this weekend at my parent’s property in Vero Beach. A friend and photographer, Ashley Morgan, took these amazing photos! The location is Waldo’s Secret Garden as some call it but it’s just plain old home to me! I love to do these for our brides to get an idea of where they can get a few rad shots for their big day… I also don’t mind playing dress up in this vintage Lilly Pulitzer, don’t mind one bit! It was originally $400 and I got it on sale for $90 a few years ago, one of my favorite purchases to date.

You can tell that vintage is definitely coming back! I keep finding old menus around the house from the Patio or Ocean Grill and I’m just blown away at the typography I’m thinking ’this is definitely something someone would create these days!’ Well, the newest one I found was a little flyer for cocktail hour at the Ocean Grill that I decided to re-create! I’d love to have this as a little keepsake with my martini!

Decorative Arts now has clothes and they are pretty fly if you ask me! Aren’t these models beautiful? We love being creative with quick little photo shoots every now and then! We are gearing up for another spring shoot with all the amazing new lines! Can’t wait to show everyone!
